My internship has flown by. Seriously, it’s been a wild ride. We often talk about how fast things move here at Envol but it’s hard to encapsulate that without living it. Starting my internship working at Envol was pedal to the metal, immediately. Within the first day, I was involved in an Envol workshop for recruiting and employer branding. Within my first week, I was actively working on talent acquisition. As you can imagine, after only three short months here at Envol, it’s a bittersweet goodbye. Picking my top 3 takeaways will be hard but as always, your girl is up for the challenge!

Envol Strategies was launched on September 12, 2016. I started Envol because I believe that businesses can be more human, better places to work. After years working in the recruiting agency world, I knew that companies deserved more than expensive bandaid solutions to their people challenges. I saw first-hand the profound disconnect between great employers and great employees - simply put, they didn't know where to find each other. We knew there had to be a better way. Thankfully, the market agreed.

You can probably tell - we love talking about our team. Our next Meet the Team introduces our second Intern, Samantha! Samantha and Angus have quickly become the office dynamic duo, and we wouldn't have it any other way. If you're ever wondering who manages our Instagram, Samantha's your girl.
